Star nose tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade from the New York Giants, a league source told The Athletic on Monday. The source said Lawrence will not attend the team’s offseason workouts.

Lawrence, who the Giants drafted out of Clemson with the No. 17 pick in the 2019 draft, is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time second-team All-Pro. He has recorded 30.5 sacks, 40 tackles for loss and 341 total tackles during his time in New York.
